Once again Women of Sacred Heart will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an Interesting and Fun Filled Meeting on Thursday, March 9. Surprises galore are in store for the meeting which will be held at 10:00 in Founders Hall. Denise Drum Baker, retired art teacher at Sandhills Community College, will talk about the Sister City Program. Denise was instrumental in having Southern Pines be named the Sister City of Newry, Northern Ireland. Games, Irish songs, and special entertainment are planned. All women of the parish are invited. Come, bring a friend, wear something green and join in the spirit of the day. It will also be our “Lenten Soup Day”. Members of the Board will be providing crusty bread and butter. If you do not bring soup, bread or butter, please bring a dessert to share. The Board will meet at 9:00 in Room 12.
