Open to all women of the parish. Meets on the second Thursday of the month, September through May, at 10:00 am. Most meetings are held in Founders Hall.
Mission Statement
Women of Sacred Heart is an organization in which the members, strengthened by their Catholic Faith, pursue their discipleship by reaching out to help fulfill the needs of our Parish and community through prayer, word, action and charitable works while offering fellowship to our Sisters in Christ within our Parish family.
Social Activities:- Opening Members’ Tea
- Christmas Luncheon
Spiritual Activities:- Annual Day of Recollection in January
- Crowning and Mass in Honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary in May
- Mass and Tea in September
- Mass and church schedule are celebrated each month for living and deceased members
Community Service:- Initiatives to provide support to needy veterans and military families
- Sponsors an Annual Baby Shower and donates items to the Life Care Pregnancy Center
- Sponsors a white elephant sale, “Elphie,” & donations from the sale benefit the church and community.
- Christmas project benefiting nursing homes assigned to Sacred Heart
- Arts and crafts activities, birthday and special occasion cards provided to residents at long-term care facilities
