Our Mats for the Homeless Group is in need of plastic grocery bags ASAP. We have many new members in the group, and it takes 1000 bags to make 1 mat. Feel free to drop them at the office and we will get them into the classroom used for this purpose. Thank you!!

The Knights of Columbus are planning a LAMB fundraiser for the weekend Masses March 2-3rd and 9-10th. It will be a take-home dinner consisting of a 32 oz food container of pasta sauce (provided by Valenti's restaurant in Vass) and a 1 lb. box of pasta. We will be in the Gathering Area after Mass. TRIP TO AFRICA A group of parishioners have expressed an interest in visiting Uganda and the Ministry of Wells and Education sponsored by members of Sacred Heart Church. We also have talented and experienced military parishioners interested in sharing their knowledge of sustainable farming and other lifesaving skills. The travel would take place this summer and be guided by representatives from Uganda. Space is limited. Expenses of the trip are borne personally. Family Promise of Moore County, located at 400 Saunders Boulevard, Aberdeen, is a nonprofit agency dedicated to alleviating homelessness in Moore County, North Carolina. Assistance is provided in partnership with local church congregations and organizations, a Board of Trustees and staff. They are a 16-bed homeless shelter providing services to women and their families. Sacred Heart supports the program with funds and with VOLUNTEERS.  Our Parish will be hosting once again from November 27 - to November 30.
