Fruit and vegetables, as well as potatoes are needed. Please leave all bags in the Gathering Area and mark them San Juan Diego. Our Robbins community is overwhelmed by your thoughtful generosity!

A Sincere THANK YOU to the parishioners who donated an Easter Dinner Food Basket for Disabled Veterans or Veterans in Need. Women of Sacred Heart greatly appreciate your generosity and are very happy to report that 36 baskets were donated and distributed. A special Thank You also goes to the Knitters who donated 25 shawls and lap throws that accompanied the baskets. Many, many thanks for your generosity and support of this project.

Please join the children in saying the Rosary and crowning the Blessed Mother on Sunday, May 29th after the 10:45 am Mass. Children are invited to wear their First Communion and Confirmation clothing and join in praising the Mother of God. Adults should meet at the statue of Our lady. The children will meet in Founders Hall immediately after Mass and process, saying the rosary, to the statue. A member of the First Communion class will carry the crown and a child will crown Our Lady. We ask all parishioners to be part of this tradition. Join us in saying the Rosary as we pray for World Peace.

Seats are still available for the WSH discussion on “The Holy Longing: The search for A Christian Spirituality”, by Roland Rolheiser. We will meet in Founders Hall on Tuesdays, starting April 19, from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. The discussions will looks at the “hard truths of compassion, forgiveness, and action in the world that give us a true and lasting hope”. Come join us, Tuesday evenings.

The April Women of Sacred Heart Meeting will be held the third Thursday of the month on April 21 due to Holy Week being the second week of the month. It will take place at 10:00 in Founders Hall. The theme of the meeting will be A Spring Fling. Election of Officers for the 2022/2023 Program Year will also be held. Members whose last names are from A to P are asked to bring dainty sandwiches, salads or fruit/vegetable platters. Members whose last names are from Q to Z are asked to bring desserts. This series explains the Catholic Faith, with group discussion and exploration of questions Catholics may have concerning their Faith. The textbook which will be frequently referred to in the discussion is The Catechism of the Catholic Church. (If you want to purchase a copy, it is available on Amazon.)
